Today, people all over the world in industrialized nations are typically not getting enough or the proper type of exercise to keep their body functioning at peak efficiency. As a result, people get sluggish, tire easily, are overweight and out of sorts.

Proper exercise is a key ingredient to our overall health. We don’t have to become world class athletes, but we must realize our bodies are similar to cars. If we don’t maintain our vehicles properly with regular tune ups and maintenance, they will not perform properly and may let us down when we need them most.

Regular exercise and a healthy diet keeps our body in top condition and provides us the capacity to perform our tasks in a personally rewarding fashion.

A basic cardiovascular workout of 30 minutes – 3 times a week is the minimum our body needs to deliver the performance and health we should expect. In as little as 20 minutes of strength training 3 times a week, we should be on our way to optimum physical health. There are many clubs, DVD’s and books available to help in designing a personally tailored workout routine. It’s never too late to start an exercise program, so START TODAY! Develop a body that will provide a more enjoyable, productive and healthy life. When our bodies are in good physical shape, we have better self-esteem and tackling life’s obstacles don’t seem so hard. Physical activity is a great stress reliever. Exercising also helps to clear the pores of the skin and allows the skin to breathe more efficiently.

Sleep: Get plenty restful of sleep on a quality bed. A good night’s sleep is very important to our overall health… especially to our face. If this tends to be a problem, contact a doctor to see what issues may be causing this – over the long term, it can be a detriment to the body.
